        Recovery of gas from plant vent lines or vapour recovery from hydrocarbon liquid storages: gas is recompressed for further uses.

        Gas compression and injection into reservoir, in order to keep reservoir pressure high and increase oil production

        Compression of gas into an underground storage for future withdrawal and re-compression into pipeline.

      • LNG Boil Off Gas compression

        Compression and boost of Boil Off Gas that is continuously generated from LNG  liquid level into the LNG storage due to externally applying heat and fluctuations to that level.

      • Gas lift compression

        Gas inection into tube casing anulus in order to decrease tube oil density: this increase hydrostatic density difference between reservoir and tubing, thus favouring oil production.

      • Power plants Fuel gas boosting

        Natural gas compression in order to match fuel feeding pressure in gasturbines or internal combustion engines.

      • Fireflood

        Generation of a flame front in the reservoir by introducing oxygen-rich gases: the heat generated reduces oil viscosity and vaporize water, pushing oil toward well(s)

      • Petrochemical industry

        Compressor advantages: Minimum vibration level.
        The specifically designed skid chassis ensures the both elasticity and rigidity adequate to keep the system balanced at any time, from start to operation at full capacity.

        Vibration measurement points could be done in automatic at diffrent points.

      • Gas separation

        Compressor advantages: Oil – Gas separation
        Thanks to the special design of FORNOVO GAS high pressure pistons with floating seals, the gas is helping the lubrication of the cylinders and reducing the need of oil.
        Oil consumption is maximum 1 kg every 100 working hours
        The pistons and the valves are manufactured by a specialized Austrian supplier exclusively for FORNOVO GAS

      • Refinery (Refinery/Petrochemical Services)

        General refinery or Petrochemical Services which involve compression of gas (hydrocarbon based gases or others).
        Typical inlet and outlet pressure ranges depend on particular process.

      • Well head

        Compressor advantages: Speed range and efficiency.
        The direct coupling is the best available in the field of mechanical transmission as the mechanical efficiency is the highest possible. It is undoubtedly more efficient than traditional belts, which also have to be replaced frequently, and is therefore ideal for this type of application.

      • Well depletion

        Compressor advantages: Minimum vibration level
        Setting of the masses at the lowest possible level, containment of the maximum height and the arrangement at V 90° or W 120° of the cylinders brings additional mechanical advantages.
