Burckhardt Compression has signed an agreement to acquire Fornovo Gas, a provider of gas compression solutions for biogas and compressed natural gas applications. Founded in 1969 in Italy, Fornovo Gas focuses on mid-sized reciprocating compressors and has developed a strong market position in Europe. It employs approximately 120 people.<\/p>\n
The acquisition strengthens Burckhardt Compression\u2019s position in the growing biogas and compressed natural gas (CNG) markets. Fornovo Gas brings strong technical expertise, a complementary product line to Burckhardt\u2019s and long-standing customer relationships.<\/p>\n
