In the gas industry, particularly in the transformation, transport and storage of biogas and biomethane, our vocation and mission are bringing together experience and technological expertise to design and build state-of-the-art compressors and solutions for industrial and process supplies used in a vast array of diverse applications.

Carlo Bauzone founded Fornovo Gas.
The company started distributing methane gas by means of tankers and truck trailers. In 2002, the company began to manage the production, packaging, installation, commissioning and maintenance of CNG compression systems.
First reciprocating compressor fully developed using Fornovo Gas technology.
First oil-free reciprocating compressor installed for biomethane application.
In 2009, the company obtained ISO9001, ISO 1401 and ISO 45001 certifications
Expansion of the headquarters with the construction of a new operational facility dedicated to R&D.
Fornovo Gas compressors were operate in 60 countries.
A range of hydrogen reciprocating compressors was created.
Fornovo Gas was one of the first 1000 Italian companies to become a Benefit Corporation.

Whistleblowing
Fornovo Gas S.p.A. has implemented a process for receiving, analysing and processing reports (including anonymous ones) about the Company, sent by third parties or employees of collaborators.
The process complies with the regulatory changes introduced by Legislative Decree No. 24 of 10 March 2023 implementing Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law and laying down provisions concerning the protection of persons who report breaches of national laws (so-called “Whistleblowing Decree”).
One of the options indicated in the Whistleblowing Procedure as described in the document on this page may be used for submitting and managing reports.
